The global equity income trust

The manager, Alan Porter, supported by an experienced and deeply resourced team, selects and manages the best international stocks. He typically runs a focused equity portfolio of 40-60 stocks that is unconstrained by country or sector restrictions.
The board has appointed Edinburgh-based Martin Currie Investment Management Ltd (Martin Currie) to manage the portfolio. Alan Porter is the Martin Currie investment manager responsible for Securities Trust of Scotland. He has 20 years’ investment experience. Alan is supported by Martin Currie’s regional and global sector research teams.
