New director For Securities Trust board
Securities Trust of Scotland PLC announces the appointment of John Evans as a non-executive director of the company.

John will start his role on 1st February 2016, and has extensive investment management and investment company experience having worked in the industry for over 30 years. After commencing his career with Ivory & Sime, in 1990 John became one of the founding partners of Aberforth Partners, a specialist investment management firm that invests in UK Smaller Quoted Companies largely on behalf of institutional investors. Throughout his career John has been closely involved with the management of Investment Companies, and in particular those with an income objective. John is currently a non-executive director of Investors Capital Trust plc and is the Chairman of Drum Income Plus REIT.
